Senator's Wife
The Senator’s Wife is an interesting and complex tale of two women’s private lives. Their combined story begins when Meri and her new husband, Nathan, move into the adjoining town house next to Delia’s house. While Delia is nearing the end of her life, Meri has just begun her life’s journey. Interestingly enough, both women find that their lives are quite similar, and they are able to learn and gain from each other’s perspectives. Told from both women’s points of view, the story allows the reader to feel the love, betrayal, hope, and loss that they both experience in their imperfect but realistic marriages. Miller has done an excellent job of providing characters that are rich and full of emotion. If you are looking for a book with a deep connection to its characters and their lives, then The Senator’s Wife is for you. |
